Sethite Theory: “Certain Men Crept In Unawares” and The Church Buys It!

So, what is the “Sethite Theory”? In a nutshell, it is the belief that Genesis 6:1-4 refers to what happens to mankind after Cain kills Abel. The line of Seth was pure and faithful, while the line of Cain turned rebellious and ungodly. By Belle Ringer April 1, 2017 There are days when the spiritual component of my life just screams for attention. Enough of this world, already! So, I just have to speak about matters that have much greater consequences than the latest headlines. A few weeks back, I published a post titled “How Much Longer? (As It Was In The Days of Noah). Needless to say, it caused quite a bit of controversy and generated a spirited conversation amongst the Body of Christ, and with the secular population. But there is much more that needs to be said about this topic, and I believe it is quite relevant...

Christian Student Reports Professor for Distorting Gospel, Gets Suspended

Staff Reporter, MCN April 15, 2017 After a confrontation with a Muslim professor’s claim that Jesus’ crucifixion never took place, a Rollins College student was suspended for confronting the professor over the teacher’s comments. Marshall Polston, is a sophomore at Rollins, a private 4-year institution. “Whether religious or not, I believe even those with limited knowledge of Christianity can agree that according to the text, Jesus was crucified and his followers did believe he was divine… that he was ‘God,’” Polston told the Central Florida Post, adding, “Regardless, to assert the contrary as academic fact is not supported by the evidence.” Areej Zufari, professor of the Middle Eastern Humanities class, gave Polston a 52/100 on an essay shortly thereafter and reported his comments on Christ to the campus dean. Even after all this, Zufari held a class discussion on Sharia Law where “a male Muslim student said gays and adulterers...

In Anticipation Of The Coming American Apocalypse, two Lawmakers Plan To Create ‘Christian Survivalist Centers’ In Rural Areas

By Michael Snyder April 6, 2017 A couple of lawmakers from South Carolina want to establish a network of self-sufficient communities in their state in preparation for “societal collapse”. In the long-term, they hope to “train and equip one million neighborhood leaders” that will be able to establish “a fresh beginning for America” in the aftermath of the great crisis that is coming. State Representatives Josiah Magnuson and Jonathon Hill are both relatively young, they were both home-schooled, and each of their fathers are pastors. They are calling their dream the “Virtue Solution Project”, and they are examples of a new breed of American politician that recognizes that the system is failing and that we desperately need to return to the values that this nation was founded upon. In the short-term, Magnuson and Hill hope that the centers that they are establishing will enable communities to be able to survive...

Interfaith Alert – Liberal Media Alert

Montana Media Favors ‘Celebrate Islam Week’ over ‘Creation Conference’ 13 to 2 in New Study St. Paul Lutheran Church Hosts ‘Celebrate Islam Week’ – In Nowhere Else Other Than Missoula Governor Bullock accused of being ‘Sharia-Compliant’ By Jesse Wanskasmith May 25, 2017 When the Lake Missoula Creation Conference came to Missoula, it was a big hit for the Christian community of Montana. The conference, an annual gathering of creation scientists and researchers started by Doug Miller in 2013, featured Ken Ham as this years keynote speaker. Interestingly, the Montana mainstream-media favored, in a welcoming tone, a much smaller interfaith-oriented organization called Standing Alongside America’s Muslims (SALAM), also in Missoula – 13 TO 2. The organization, operating with Emmaus Campus Ministries on the University of Montana in Missoula, organized the week-long event held at various locations in Missoula April 25-30. SALAM’s founder, Laurie Franklin, a spiritual leader and student rabbi at...

Was Gianforte Denying Christ in His Pledge to the Missoulian?

By Jesse Wanskasmith May 25, 2017 The Missoulian’s May 14th editorial endorsement of Greg Gianforte has some asking if Gianforte’s pledge to “set aside his own personal ideology whenever necessary” violated Matthew 10:33 (ESV) “But whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.” It’s an argument that’s been made that casts a shadow on the Greg for Montana victory. After ‘body-slamming’ a reporter a day before the election, Gianforte’s less than honorable behavior raised more questions about his dedication to his faith (1 Peter 2:12). This is particularly important as his desire to hold public office has brought his faith into the limelight. 1 Peter 2:12 Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world. A Christian that cedes to the world...

The Shack: Book Review By Matt Slick

By Matt Slick February 8, 2017 Matt Slick can be followed at his website: https://carm.org/the-shack The Shack has been a popular book in Christian circles, at least at the time this article was originally written in May of 2008. It is about to be released as a movie starring Sam Worthington. Now, I am not saying we don’t want Hollywood to produce good Christian material. But, sad to say, if Hollywood wants to do something Christian, then we need to be cautious. And, if the movie is anything like the book, then there is reason for concern. The Shack is supposed to be the account of a man who spent a weekend with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit in a shack in the forest. It is a fictional story1 of Mr. Mackenzie Allen Phillips, written by William P. Young. Mack suffers the horrible loss...

Butte Rescue Mission Faces Closure as 200+ Neighbors say ‘NO’

By MCN Staff March 20, 2017 The Butte Rescue Mission is being forced to move from its location on E. Second Street in Butte as of April 3rd, 2017. A replacement location hasn’t been confirmed and the director of the organization, Rocky Lyons, has been scrambling to relocate the Christian-based rescue mission. The mission is hoping to relocate to the old Madison School, owned by the Foursquare Church for $100,000, but over 200 neighbors have come forward signing a petition asking the move not go forward. The mission offers emergency housing with up to 50 beds each night and is usually full. The mission also serves three meals a day seven days a week and relies on community support to continue its Godly work. During the holidays, the mission has served up to 3000 meals during Thanksgiving and Christmas. The potential closure of the Mission should raise serious concerns...

Intrafaith Lutheran Transexual Dr. Rev. Universalist Invited To Missoula for TRANS Week

March 20, 2017 By MCN Staff Interfaith dialogues and activities are happening all around, which is laudable. What is largely missing, however, is conversation among Christians about what to do with the proverbial elephant in the Christian living room – Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation. ~ The Intrafaith Conversation, By Susan Stroue & Megan Rohrer Megan Rohrer’s visit to Missoula comes at a time when Interfaith or “intra-faith” seems to be making huge progress in dismantling the fundamentals of Christianity and disgracing Jesus. It’s a heresy that needs to be called out for what it is – a dangerous subversion of Christianity being orchestrated to make the Anti-Christ’s ‘One World Religion’ palatable. These are serious claims, but not without merit. Christianity does not have a catchy term to describe its hybrids (Chrisbu or Bu-Chris is just not as mellifluous as Jubu!). But there are those who are...

Franklin Graham’s message of Pray-Vote-Engage

By Debra Brown With the past tumultuous election that this country has gone through, many people are wondering what is going to happen next. Evangelist Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, took on a challenge from God in 2016 to travel across America encouraging Christians to Pray-Vote-Engage along with the timeless message of salvation through Jesus. Graham traveled to the state capitals of all 50 states where thousands of Christians and non-Christians gathered to pray for our country and the upcoming November election. His Decision America Tour (DAT) Rally was held in Helena, Montana, on August 9, 2016. Over 3,000 people gathered on the Montana Capital grounds, a record number for any previous events held there. Longtime friend and travel companion of Graham, Dennis Agajanian, sang praises to our God. Graham’s first order of duty was to present the salvation message for those who had never received Jesus as their...

An American in Kuwait

By Staff Reporter February 9, 2017 MCJ Reporter: Would you and/or your husband have anything you would like us to know about Muslims and the travel ban? I would really like to hear your opinion. I will protect your identity if you like. You could write an open letter to the editor. Thanks! An American in Kuwait: Sure. I don’t know about writing a letter but I can share some insight, insight I didn’t have and has changed my perspective to a degree. Being in the Middle East and living in an ally nation, I have seen how peaceful and accepting Muslims can be. I have also seen the hate some can possess. Typically from people working in this nation from other nations such as Egypt, Pakistan, Iraq and India. This particular nation is tolerant….to an extent. It has much it needs to evolve in. For instance, they allow a...
