Congressional Investigation Opens Into Deceptive Data From The NOAA And Obama Administration, Proving Climate Change Has Slowed

“Climate at a Glance (ncdc.noaa.gov). As of February 12, 2017; refreshed monthly. Global temperature anomaly data come from the Global Historical Climatology Network-Monthly (GHCN-M) data set and International Comprehensive Ocean-Atmosphere Data Set (ICOADS), which have data from 1880 to the present. These two datasets are blended into a single product to produce the combined global land and ocean temperature anomalies.”

The NOAA used “untested experimental version of the dataset” to propose global policy, misleading the world that Climate Change required “urgent action.”

It’s been revealed that arguments presented by ‘climate change deniers’ which has largely been brandished ‘fake news,’ have new standing as real news with a new report released by the Daily Mail. The report found that the claim presented at the Paris Agreement that climate change hasn’t slowed down since 2000 are FALSE. The Paris Agreement was based off a report by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) – the source of the fake-news. Texas Republican, Lamar Smith, commented that, the “NOAA cheated and got caught.”

The whistleblower, a NOAA scientist named Dr John Bates, in collaboration with a scientific paper released around the time of the Paris Conference in 2015, Possible Artifacts Of Data Biases In The Recent Global Surface Warming Hiatus, found that buoys data had been ‘adjusted’ upwards to reflect a higher temperature reading from 2000 to 2015. The claims Bates made is that selectively higher temperature data was chosen from sources (including readings from ships) that are known to have higher readings than actual sea temperature data. This data misrepresented the actual sea temperature and led the NOAA to release this data in 2015, just in time for a global climate change conference.

The data was released by the NOAA in 2015 in what is known as the ‘Pausebuster’ paper. The paper with data from the ‘version 4’ dataset from the NOAA showed global temperatures increases required “urgent action.” The paper itself was delayed, as reported by the Daily Mail to, “to intensify the impact of the Pausebuster paper.” It’s no coincidence this all occurred around the time of the Paris Conference leading to unfettered climate change policy with no time for proper oversight or vetting of this new data – a despicable and dangerous act by the Obama Administration.

The sea temperature data used in the 2015 report by the NOAA is not the only data being drawn into question. The dataset of land based temperatures relied on what the Daily Mail called, “[An] untested experimental version, …which had not been properly archived and made accessible to other scientists.”

The Paris Agreement from 2015 dictated policy in many nations, including costing British consumers £319 billion by 2030, £80 billion in climate aid to 3rd world nations and continues to be seen by the liberal left as a progressive policy without review.

The NOAA responded to the claims by Bates by stating, “In the interest of maintaining the highest standards of transparency, accountability and scientific integrity, we are in the process of engaging independent outside parties to review this matter.”

An investigation is ongoing and if the Trump Administration can continue to keep its promises of being an administration of ‘law and order,’ those at the heart of this deception should be held accountable.
